This is the best app ever like there are no ads I don’t really care if the music is a little kinky and that it’s a little hard to pair new lights but it’s just the fact that there are so many sew colours. If 6 stars was a thing I would give this 6.

There’s a reason the description is written in Chinese, because it’s a Chinese piece of junk!! The app is by far the worst part! You can’t control lights separately only all together and it’s impossible to find out which one is which.

Have had these installed for 3 years and they have lasted. Only complaint is that if you unplug and plug back in, the lights strobe between all colors so you have to go into the app and reapply settings. In my case, static red where the lights stay on red at all times. Accidentally bumping the lights are pushing the button resets the lights to flash all colors.

This without a doubt is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used in my life initially it works great however after about the third or fourth time it won’t even come up on the screen anymore. It’s just a blue screen with no functionality whatsoever.

the custom mode where you can make a custom gradient doesn’t work, the color selection wheel is hard to get exact colors, no RGB menu where you can input the RGB value you want and it doesn’t communicate with the lights very well, it thinks they are off sometimes when they are on or the other way around

I can’t use any of the custom modes, the light won’t pair to the app. I have a 13pro max so my phone is not the issue. It doesn’t show any devices available or discoverable. I have used lotus lantern and smarthome app for other leds in my home and never encountered any issues with pairing. Please fix the app, I don’t want a remote.

I have multiple controllers connected to the app. It connects to them, and communicates the function to them, but they are not synced in timing. So one set of lights switches quicker than the other. Please make a way where the app will sync the timing for the color changes at the same time for all controllers connected. Otherwise this is useless. 😡

This app works to the point I need it to. It could definitely be better but at least it does work. Issues are: 1. The timers are so confusing, I don’t understand them. 2. When I try to add a song the whole app freezes and I have to delete the app and then add it back! I would like to listen to music while the lights dance with me.

I had led lights and lost my remote and I was gonna use this app but it didn’t work

I have been trying to figure out how to download music onto the app besides the one song that came with it does anyone have a clue. I do have iTunes, and I believe it’s through there somehow.

Love this light for the price!!! But I can’t seem to figure out how to set my timer to go off, I set it to come on at 7:30pm and it comes on but I set it to go off at 1:00 am and it doesn’t go off.. why is that?

Super inconsistent behavior. The scheduled on and off stopped working a few days ago and I can’t figure out why. I re-programmed it again but nothing I do can get it to work. The app hasn’t been updated in what looks like 4 years. Can they really not put a little bit of money towards making it actually work?

I have multiple apps like this for other lights, never had an issue before this app. Worked fine upon initial download and connecting. However, one day I found on the app that the device was detectable, but would not connect. Even tried to uninstall and rescan the QR code to redownload and now it isn’t even detectable. If you are looking at lights that use this app, I highly recommend purchasing something different. Now I am going to have to fight with the company that I got the lights for as they provide lights with a faulty app.

The light is fantastic. The app is a little wonky depending on how it’s used. The color wheel and light selections seem to be fine. When you switch to music mode, the functionality starts to unravel. The onboard music player doesn’t work in terms of controlling the light. It shows a song and a list playing, but there is no sound and the light is unresponsive. The microphone does work, and if the phone/device is placed near a speaker, it’s ok. Kind of a bad workaround considering it has a music player built in, but at least there IS a workaround. Seems like an app update could probably fix it, but being new I have no idea how often that may happen. Based on the company website (Poolexa), it’s hard to be optimistic. 2.5 stars for the app, 4.5 stars for the light.

I have tried this on three IOS devices. It locks up every time.

It just instantly crashes for both my wife and I on our phones since updating. I cannot change the lights in my car. It’s so annoying.

Absolute junk. Doesn’t connect no matter what you do. Now will use as a fishing wight. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

Is there a app that will let them color chase or mor functions other then this one?

It was working fine a couple weeks ago but now the app doesn’t work. I check my Bluetooth connection and it says I’m connected but when I go to use the app nothing happens. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app and nothing. PLEASE FIX THIS!!

Bad

LED LAMP, much more user friendly and has more timer options. This LED BLE is the worse. Use the same technique as instructed. But plug in strings, open app search for each one you plugged in and make sure to hit Control at the bottom then test the power. First time out and setting timer is easier and actually work at on and off. I haven’t tried the music part yet. But it’s on here along with instruction videos for types of lighting or music.

Works for a while then won’t even open on iPhone 12 Pro. Now I can’t control the cool LEDs I installed on my car. Please fix ASAP!

Lights work perfect. Been emailing the company to update app hard time opening to get app to work . Never no response!

I really like this app right when I downloaded it it automatically connected to my led lights and no difficulty needed

So these lights are great the app worked great the first time I used them/plugged them in. I had to move and unplug them. When I wanted to put them back up the app would not for the love of the holy lord let me connect. It would show them as a thing to be connected in my settings, but when I connected then went back to the led BLE app to connect them to the app it wouldn’t let me. I followed one of the other reviews very intriqué instructions to be able to reconnect them. But of course it only worked the first few times then I was stranded not know how to connect. Theme of the story, don’t buy these unless you are willing to put up a fight to connect them to your phone.

I’m disgusted that I spent over $500 on a set of quality rock lights with 3 zone controller and this joke of an app is what I’m supposed to use to control them? Custom functions don’t work. Must force close app to make any changes. Interface is deplorable and very dated. App doesn’t work half the time. LUX lighting you should be ashamed and embarrassed that this is who you have partnered with to control your “American made” high quality led products.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ONEUPLIGHTING UNDERGLOWS. I have not had them very long and the control box has already quit working

these lights have worked great for over a year but every now and then the app and remote suddenly won’t work and the lights just won’t turn on and then it’ll start randomly working again. i’ve tried the troubleshooting techniques listen in the app instructions but nothing has worked. the app said to write in the app store if it seems that my device is incompatible. i have an iphone 11 which isn’t a very old model so i feel like it should be compatible.

Horrible app

I was able to get my lights to change to the music. Still working on trying to create my own playlist in the music que. I would like it if it had the option to link to Apple Music and lights shift to streaming music. I haven’t figured that part out.

The app will close on itself also if you lock your screen while in the app, when you reopen the phone it will freeze your screen and cause you to have to force shut down the phone. Please fix bugs in this app.

So basically these lights aren’t bad and they do work but I don’t know if I did something wrong but randomly they just turn to this one teal color so I have to keep it on that. That’s been happening from the day that I put them up. And the remote for it doesn’t work

It keeps saying no device found I’ve tried unhooking my rocklights and hooking them back up and rest the app and still it doesn’t work. The only thing I have found that works is deleting the app and reinstalling it. But I hate having to do it every time. Also problem with connection.

I loved it, but within a week of using it it disconnected from my LED lights and stopped working altogether. I’d recommend any other app to control your home appliances; this is a disappointment.

It works super well and I love them BUT I went back into the app a few days after and all my custom colors where deleted

Honestly this app is super easy to use if you don’t wanna use the music filter, it’s so simple to change the colors, i total recommend it.

The app needs work the schedule, timer part does not work

all that shows when you open the app is a blank blue screen.

How can I get a users manual? I’m75 years old and I need to see instructions on how to use the app. Please help!
